Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Financial Patrol in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity or potential security-related hazards, reporting any findings according to site protocols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or customers in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation of incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Follow all company and client policies, including those related to the carrying and use of authorized firearms, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
