Systems Engineer Integration and Test

Zachary Piper Solution is seeking a Systems Engineer Integration and Test to support the integration and testing of advanced networked communication systems. This is an on-site role based in San Diego, CA, with occasional/part-time telecommuting possible. The position requires domestic travel. A Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities for the SEIT include:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans and procedures
• Configure systems to support testing and prototyping of developing technologies
• Create troubleshooting procedures and workaround documentation
• Conduct systems and sub-systems testing
• Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documentation
• Install and configure Windows/Linux servers
• Set up and maintain DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory
• Maintain virtual environments
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear including switches, servers, and firewalls
• Capture and deploy system images

Required Qualifications for the SEIT include:

• 4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or IT-related fields
• Experience with DoD computer and radio systems
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, protocols, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN/WAN
• High proficiency in Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of automation and implementation practices
• Secret Clearance

Compensation for the SEIT includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000
• Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plan, Sick leave as required by law
