Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate or Experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Ordnance) in Saint Charles, MO. Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems p rograms .

Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

- Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design
- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups
- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
- Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation
- Trains others
- Works under general direction

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 2 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

- Experience working energetics
- Experience working with energetics suppliers
