VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Chantilly, VA.
What will you do?
- As a Systems Engineer on this program, you will design, develop, and implement reliable, robust, and resilient systems used by software development teams. Demonstratable, working experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions), Kubernetes, containers, or serverless is strongly preferred. The Platform Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, cybersecurity engineers, database administrators, and system architects.

Primary Responsibilities - • This role delivers an innovative product, service, or a combination of products and services that address a customer's specific requirements
• Support the development of enterprise software solutions within the customer's cloud environments.
• This role provides execution guidance and practical engineering support to mission teams
Do you have what it takes?
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• BS degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Must have experience with cloud providers such as AWS
• Experience in Platform engineering
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Working with the team's security engineer to address and mitigate security findings stemming from system security scans
• Performing regular maintenance of cloud infrastructure resources, to include patching, configuration, upgrading as needed
• Experience interacting with cross functional project teams including Software Development System Engineering, Security Compliance, and Quality Assurance
