MBA Consulting Services Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking a skilled SharePoint / Power BI Developer to support the design, development, and integration of business solutions across the Microsoft 365 platform for the United States Postal Service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and customizing SharePoint environments, building Power BI reports and dashboards, and integrating these tools to improve collaboration, data visibility, and decision-making. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams.

This position is best suited for a technically versatile developer with strong SharePoint expertise and functional Power BI experience who can bridge collaboration and data analytics across the Microsoft ecosystem. Candidates with end-to-end solution experience in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure will be highly competitive.

***********For the first 3-6 months, candidate must work at our client's facility in Largo, MD. Once trained, the candidate may work 100% remotely from home.****************************

Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions.
  • Build and customize SharePoint pages, forms, and web parts to support business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data sourced from SharePoint, SQL Server, and other systems.
  • Create and optimize data models and DAX calculations for accurate and efficient analytics.
  • Integrate SharePoint with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Teams to streamline business processes.
  • Responsible for collecting and integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability for accurate analysis.
  • Support ongoing SharePoint administration tasks such as permissions management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights using Power BI.
  • Provide documentation, technical guidance, and end-user support as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check to obtain a Public Trust Clearance


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint development and Power BI development experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing and customizing solutions in SharePoint Online / Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Experience using Power BI Desktop for report and dashboard creation.
  • Working knowledge of DAX for calculated measures and KPIs.
  • Experience using Power Query to connect, clean, and transform data.
  • Ability to integrate data from multiple sources, including SharePoint lists, Excel, and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate or Power Apps for workflow automation and form customization.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 environment, permissions, and collaboration tools.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing custom client-side components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Advanced Power BI capabilities such as forecasting, R/Python integration, or AI visuals.
  • Experience working with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Data Factory, or Azure Functions).
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or Microsoft 365 Developer Associate.
  • Experience in a federal contracting or enterprise IT environment.
