In this role, you'll help transform how data is accessed, managed, and utilized across the organization by eliminating silos and ensuring seamless integration for analytics, visualization, and operations.
What You'll Do
As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines within Databricks and related platforms.
- Integrate and automate batch ETL processes and Kafka streaming solutions to enhance data availability.
- Optimize data infrastructure and architecture to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and system documentation.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across enterprise environments.
Schedule, Salary & Shift Details
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid in Washington, D.C.; support during East Coast business hours
- Salary: $160K - $180K
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required (Dual Citizens acceptable)
- Public Trust clearance required or higher
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Agile Software Development Lifecycle - 3-5 years
- Data Integration - 3-5 years
- Data Engineering - 3-5 years
- Data Modeling - 3-5 years
- Databricks Platform - 5+ years
