Personnel Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Personnel Manager to assist the Space Systems Command MilComm & PNT Directorate in managing the full lifecycle of space-related programs — from research and development to production, operations, and maintenance — by providing comprehensive acquisition and program management support based in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities of the Personnel Manager include:

• Lead and guide contractor teams in managing infrastructure, human resources, personnel, and information systems to support organizational goals and operations.
• Manage and track automated data processing equipment (ADPE) to ensure efficient procurement, usage, maintenance, and timely replacement of technology assets.
• Coordinate infrastructure and facility operations, ensuring aerospace space requirements are met and Facility Board meetings are effectively organized and executed.
• Direct the planning and execution of training and professional development programs, overseeing all aspects to ensure alignment with organizational needs and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and manage deployment logistics, ensuring accurate tracking and coordination of personnel and equipment movements.

Qualifications for the Personnel Manager include:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a related field demonstrating leadership and operational expertise.
• Familiarity with Military Communications (Milcom) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems, including both satellite and ground-based technologies.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is mandatory for this role.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business administration or management, is required.

Compensation for the Personnel Manager include:

• Salary: $125,000 - $140,000
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
