Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Horizon VDI Administrator who will take a position in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities for the Horizon VDI Administrator:
· work closely with systems engineers, cybersecurity analysts, network teams, and program leadership to ensure secure, high-performance virtual desktop environments across multiple classified and unclassified networks.
· Regular collaboration will include aligning on configuration standards, deployment timelines, and compliance objectives to support mission-critical operations.
· Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot user access issues, remediate security findings, and respond to operational incidents.
· Leverage cross-team input and perform root cause analysis, the Horizon VDI Administrator will help implement sustainable solutions that maintain system integrity and mission readiness.
· Engineer and maintain VMware Horizon VDI environments, applying DISA STIGs, managing gold images and application layers, supporting RMF/ATO activities, and ensuring continuous availability across classified and unclassified networks.
Qualifications for the Horizon VDI Administrator:
· Clearance: TS/SCI
· 5 years of relevant experience
· Experience with Vmware Horizon, vSphere, Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell

- $130,000 to $155,000 *Depending on Experience
- Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
