Mayvin is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst SME to provide analytical and reporting support for our Intelligence Community (IC) customer's legislative and legal functions. This role focuses on budget analysis, financial modeling, and compliance documentation, ensuring financial data supports congressional notifications, audits, statutory reviews, and policy oversight. The Financial Analyst will work closely with legal, policy, and program teams to integrate financial insights into legislative products, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and adherence to IC standards.

As a senior leader, the candidate will also provide direction to more junior team members and support the Program Management Office in ensuring smooth and consistent service delivery throughout the organization.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data to support legislative reporting, policy oversight, and statutory compliance
  • Prepare financial statements, budget justifications, and compliance documentation for internal and external review
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and financial modeling to support informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with legal, policy, and program staff to ensure financial information aligns with statutory, regulatory, and IC requirements
  • Track expenditures, variances, and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation
  • Support audits, inspections, and financial compliance reviews in accordance with IC standards
  • Draft financial sections of congressional reports, briefing packages, internal memoranda, and other legislative deliverables
  • Ensure financial analysis products comply with Terms of Reference (TOR), customer guidelines, and IC standards
  • Integrate financial insights into legislative and policy documentation to support informed customer decision-making
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to facilitate audits and statutory reviews


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in financial analysis, auditing, or accounting within the Intelligence Community (IC) or federal sector
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports for congressional or executive branch stakeholders
  • Knowledge of IC and federal financial management systems, policies, and reporting processes
  • Experience supporting budget formulation, execution, and oversight processes
  • Professional certification (CFA, CPA, CGFM, or CDFM) strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief senior stakeholders
