SDR Software Engineer
Join Signalscape as an SDR Software Engineer and push the boundaries of wireless technology. Based in the Research Triangle of North Carolina, you’ll develop applications in a Linux environment, emphasizing DevSecOps integration, while leveraging your solid skills in Python, C/C++, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git. Your expertise in low-level system internals and RF signals, particularly in Wi-Fi and IoT technologies, will enable the delivery of innovative solutions for defense, intelligence, and security missions.

To thrive as an SDR Software Engineer, you should have:
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid proficiency in Python within a Linux environment, GNU Radio, and RF signal processing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, with solid knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in Docker for containerization and ability to wire SDR front ends for TX/RX components.
• U.S. citizenship required with eligibility to obtain a government security clearance to the polygraph level.
• Current Secret level U.S government security clearance required.
Your responsibilities as the SDR Software Engineer will include:
• Design, develop, and test applications using Python for software-defined radio, focusing on a GNU Radio-like framework.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes.
• Leverage Docker for containerizing applications
• Manage source code using Git
• Apply understanding of RF signal processing, specifically related to Wi-Fi (802.11 a,b,g,n,ac, ax), Zigbee, Z-wave, Bluetooth, LoRa (IOT technologies)
• Maintain thorough documentation for code, processes, and architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices
