Unissant is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our team and support our client in Washington DC Metro area
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts developed in Selenium (Web based, Desktop, Mobile, API, and Database).
Develop scenarios using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Maven, Rest Assured, Appium, and Citrus.
Develop and/or maintain automation scripts created in Selenium into the CI/CD cloud pipeline by utilizing tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Harness io, Bamboo, or other approved CBP tools.
Enhance automation frameworks and collaborate on optimizing pipeline efficiency while adhering to established best practices.
Develop and integrate Test Driven Development (TDD) into the existing automation framework.
Work Experience and Job Skills:
5+ years of automation testing experience required.
On-the-job experience in increasingly responsible positions as a tester for IT systems, with an emphasis on software, hardware, or network preferred
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Proficiency with Test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, JMeter required
Proficiency with 508 compliance testing and 508 testing tools like JAWS, Andi desired
Proficiency in conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex information systems.
Experience working within application development for federal sector projects is desirable.
Knowledge of test engineering methodology.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Software Design, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline desired
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
This federal program requires the candidates to be United States Citizen
Any related Certification on Testing is desired
Must have current CBP BI or have the ability to obtain DHS CBP clearance
Communication Skills:
Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Must work well in a matrixed team environment.
Travel:
This is a Hybrid position.
Environmental Requirements:
Mainly sedentary; in an office environment
May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
Flexible in working extended hours
