Join a dynamic federal program team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). As a Senior Acquisition SME, you will lead and coordinate acquisition activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting mission-critical projects from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior member of a program team, reporting to the contract support manager.
- Provide direct support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) assigned to program contracts.
- Lead obligation of program funds and oversee procurement package generation and submission.
- Develop and submit S1 Memo packages.
- Lead and coordinate evaluation of bids/proposals, contract awards, and closeouts.
- Submit and track program communication circuit requirements through installation.
- Lead execution of selected projects as identified by the program manager.
- Collaborate with outside agency project leaders to synchronize work with program goals and objectives.
- Prepare, track, and maintain status of all program acquisition efforts.
- Develop and analyze recommendations on program acquisition matters.
- Support development of annual program acquisition goals and objectives.
- Support program spend plan development, execution, and tracking.
- Support documentation development for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment.

Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree with 15 years’ Government Acquisition experience, or MS degree with 10 years’ Government Acquisition experience.
- Demonstrated experience with DHS/CBP budgeting and acquisition process.
- Active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs and Border Protection Public Trust clearance (CBPI).
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including development and presentation of briefings to senior government personnel.
- Self-starter capable of supporting senior government personnel independently, with minimal supervision.
