Position Summary:
As Information Technology Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based systems, Office 365 products, operating systems, software applications, and hardware for Modus21’s corporate enterprise. You will provide technical support and training to end-users and play a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and optimal performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues; respond promptly to IT support tickets, and maintain incident logs in the internal ticketing system
• Install, configure, and deploy computers, software, operating systems, and peripherals; ensure the secure setup and integration of new devices into Modus21’s enterprise environment
• Conduct root cause analysis of technical problems and apply solutions to minimize downtime and disruption, document technical resolutions for future reference
• Monitor computer systems, networks, and maintain accurate IT inventory records, including tracking hardware, licenses, and software assets
• Deliver end-user training on Microsoft Office 365, cloud applications, and IT best practices to improve technical proficiency across the organization
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for IT projects, upgrades, system improvements, and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience administering Windows-based environments, including installation, updates, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on knowledge of networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, VPN configuration, and firewall management
• Demonstrated administration of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune tools for cloud services management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical solutions in plain language to non-technical users
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred, strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., IT, computer science) or military equivalent, or minimum 3 years equivalent hands-on technical support experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within established time frame if not already held
