Mission:
Support the E2IS Integrated Product Team by delivering user-centered design solutions for complex DoD systems, ensuring products are desirable, useful, and usable for military and government users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive user research, interviews, and ethnographic studies within DoD environments
• Develop detailed user personas, journey maps, and behavioral frameworks
• Design and execute usability testing protocols and validation studies
• Create service design architectures and optimize information hierarchies
• Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI/UX designs ensuring accessibility compliance
• Establish design systems and component libraries for product consistency
• Partner with Product Managers on feature prioritization and outcome-oriented roadmaps
• Collaborate with engineering teams on agile development practices and CI/CD processes
• Manage design documentation in JIRA and Confluence
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams on POA&M resolution
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Engineering, CS, IT, IS, or related)
• 3+ years of professional software engineering or design experience
• Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certification
• Security+ certification
• Experience in DoD and Agile environments (Lean, Scrum, XP frameworks)
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and ALM tools
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

• Ability to translate business requirements into design specifications
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail
