MODUS21 is a Charleston-based business and technology consulting firm providing expertise to global and government clients. Join our team supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic’s (NIWC Atlantic) Enterprise Engineering and Integration Services (E2IS) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Responsibilities:
- Analyze security requirements for cloud and legacy networking systems
- Design and implement firewall policies and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Develop and enforce remote access security policies
- Analyze and mitigate perimeter threats and vulnerabilities
- Train personnel on boundary defense techniques
- Ensure adherence to DoD and Marine Corps information assurance policies
- Administer AWS networking (Transit Gateway, Security Groups, Junipers, VPC flows)
- Administer BIG-IP F5: load balancing, web app firewall, authentication/authorization
- Support DISA CAP compliance and traffic exception requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Math, CS, IT, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years experience in each: network boundary defense, cloud-native security, MCEN systems, cyber defense/vulnerability tools, Zero Trust architectures, DevSecOps principles
- Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer cert REQUIRED
- Security+ cert REQUIRED
- Active Top Secret clearance REQUIRED
