Jr Data Analyst

Blu Omega is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to work on a data team focused on querying, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple data sources within an Information Technology (IT) organization.

Responsibilities:

• Use your experience to extract information from data sets to identify correlations and patterns.
• Organize and transform information into comprehensible data structures and perform statistical analysis of data.
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
• Prepare reports and present these to management or clients using provided data visualization reporting tools.
• Monitor data quality and recommend fixes for data quality issues.
• Maintain data lineage and/or provenance, communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Data Analyst
• Experience with Microsoft Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree

Nice to have:

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance from the U.S. Government

Salary Range: $50K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
