Senior Business Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Hybrid) to support a DHS federal program in the Ashburn, VA area. The Senior Business Analyst will drive Agile delivery and stakeholder collaboration to turn business needs into practical, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities for the Senior Business Analyst include:

• Lead Agile delivery and guide teams through planning, development, and user story management.
• Run stakeholder sessions to gather and refine requirements, ensuring clear documentation and alignment.
• Support testing, operations, and helpdesk needs to keep things moving smoothly across the project.
• Translate new tech ideas into practical solutions while staying aligned with standards and compliance.

Qualifications for the Senior Business Analyst include:

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, including at least 5 years supporting federal IT programs.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management practices, Agile methodologies, and enterprise IT governance.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in leading stakeholder sessions and presenting complex technical concepts to senior executives.
• Must have an Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance (Active DHS/CBP clearance, highly preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or a minimum of four (4) years of relevant specialized experience.

Compensation for the Senior Business Analyst include:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually based on years of experience
