Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Java Application Developer to join a Government Consulting company located in Herndon, VA through 100% onsite work. The Java Application Developer will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), sustaining and modernizing mission-critical systems that enable the continued collection of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Experience: 5-15 years of application development experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Technical Skills:
○ Java development experience
○ XML proficiency
○ Strong troubleshooting skills
○ Experience with COTS/FOSS integration and support
○ Ability to navigate Linux and Windows environments
○ Ability to learn and implement new technologies
Compensation:
Salary: $160,000- $190,000/ year
Location: Herndon, VA. 100% Onsite

- Ensure software standards are defined and met.
