Exercise Planner
Key Role:
Support the Space Force in leading the integration of space capabilities and effects into large-scale, joint, and multinational exercises to enhance combat readiness. Develop and execute exercise scenarios that realistically simulate contested, degraded, and operationally limited ( CDO ) space environments. Advise the Component Commander and staff on space- related objectives, training audiences, and evaluation criteria for exercises, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and desired learning outcomes. Create and analyze exercise outcomes to identify gaps in capabilities, doctrine, and training, and develop recommendations for improvements to enhance the effectiveness of space operations and warfighting readiness.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working with DoD components and agencies, including the operational variables such as political, military, economic, so cia l, information, infrastructure, physical environment, and time ( PMESII-PT ) , and establishing a framework to build a dynamic and realistic operational environment
- 5+ years of experience in exercise planning at the Component Command, Combatant Command, or Service Headquarters level
- Experience with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle ( JELC )
- Ability to develop and analyze strategic, operational, and campaign plans
- Ability to present and effectively advocate component command equities at planning conferences and operational planning teams
- TS / SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite and military-specific planning sof tware, including the Joint Training Information Management System ( JTIMS ) , Joint Training Tool ( JTT ) , and Defense Readiness Reporting System ( DRRS )
- Experience in the EUCOM and AFRICOM area of operations
- Knowledge of military design and planning
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Master's degree in Military Science
- Completion of a Service or Joint Intermediate, or Senior-level Professional Military Education
