We have an opening for a Senior Principal Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Developer on the NGP Operations & Training team in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, you will author SOPs that will be used in an Operational Environment as well as the Training Environment. You will be supporting the product vision and statement of work, ensuring that the products meet timely deliveries.

Primary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Core Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
- Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of work
- Work directly with stakeholders, designers and engineers to deliver quality products and features
- Work cross functionally with other teams to execute the product strategy and roadmap
- Help to manage product backlog, iteration planning and elaboration of user stories
- Contribute to Operational Product development and maturity
- Coordinate closely with SMEs to ensure that Ops product development meets delivery with corresponding content
- Work closely and collaboratively with Training members on the Operations & Training Team for product input and development
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD in STEM
- Active TS/SCI clearance required at the time of application
- Previous experience writing Standard Operating Procedures
- Experience in Space Vehicle Health and Safety
- Operations experience or context
- Ability to travel occasionally

- Eagle-3 Bus experience
- Cornerstone Software experience
- Python scripting experience
- Operational Training experience
- Agile Experience
