Duties
Help
  • You will be primarily responsible for the management of In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) tasking and budget for Combat System programs in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programs and Foreign Military Sales partner Navies.
  • You will be responsible to assist the N70 Division Manager in the management of AEGIS Weapon/Combat System FMS procurement and contract requirements.
  • You will be responsible to assist the N70 Division Manager in planning and budgeting for technical support, and you will be responsible for the review and approval of technical data and correspondence for release.
  • You will review and analyze options, decide on a prudent course of action and influence the decisions of others in authority to accept their decision.
  • You will direct, coordinate and oversee work across departments, including monitoring quality of appropriate product deliverables, and making decisions on technical and fiscal issues presented by subordinate personnel.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that services, associated technical documentation, and other deliverables conform with program objectives and meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and sustaining cross-organizational relationships with defense program offices, international partners, and defense industry stakeholders to align with Program Office objectives, ensuring mutual mission success and operational interoperability. Applying statistical or mathematical analysis of contracting, procurement, budget, and technical data to monitor progress and evaluate outcomes to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of warfare systems in compliance with regulations. Employing robust metrics to evaluate performance, mitigate risk, and improve program outcomes. Drafting, reviewing, and delivering high-impact case documents, technical reports, and stakeholder briefings that clearly convey system capabilities, timelines, and financial obligations, using correct grammar and precise technical language tailored to international defense audiences.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
