Business Analyst/Tester
Zachary Piper is seeking a cleared Business Analyst/Tester to support the Enterprise Technology Modernization Support Services project for a federal client. This hybrid full-time role combines operations support with forward-looking modernization efforts, including automation, AI/ML integration, and enterprise platform enhancements. The ideal candidate will bridge technical and business needs to ensure alignment with mission goals and governance standards.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
• Support two core business functions serving mission and support teams
• Manage ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities
• Recommend and implement system improvements
• Automate workflows within ServiceNow
• Apply AI/ML technologies, including CBP Chat powered by ChatGPT
• Gather and document requirements through user stories and workshops
• Assist with estimation, prioritization, and release planning
• Support testing activities and help desk operations during surge periods
• Maintain process flows, SOPs, and dashboards
• Ensure Section 508 and FedRAMP compliance
• Contribute to reports and stakeholder briefings
Qualifications of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
Required:
• Active DHS Public Trust (CBP preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of specialized experience
• Strong knowledge of Agile, requirements management, and IT governance
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred:
• Familiarity with TRM, enterprise architecture, and compliance standards
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows and Business Connection portal
• Background in AI, automation, and cloud services in government settings
• Understanding of Section 508 and FedRAMP requirements
Compensation of the Business Analyst/Tester Include:
• Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, based on experience and certifications
