Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Financial Site - Full Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the protection of assets.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or circumstances and take appropriate action as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by the client.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
