WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team supporting federal acquisition systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in QA testing within Agile environments and be familiar with the unique requirements of federal acquisition applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and/or automated).
• Conduct various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance) on federal acquisition applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Ensure testing aligns with acceptance criteria and project requirements.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Clearance Level: Public Trust or higher
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, preference for Information Technology, or related field (or 10+ years equivalent work experience
• Experience working with federal acquisition applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA testing processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with various types of QA testing (manual, regression, performance, etc.).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with automation testing.
• Hands-on experience using Cucumber or similar testing automation frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with remote or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
