Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Executive Protection Manager to join the Office of the Chief Security Officer team. As the primary person responsible for ensuring the protection of our senior executive leadership team, you'll serve as the principal security provider and oversee other executive protection specialists. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our key executives, both domestically and internationally, as they travel to various locations and engage with external partners.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132000 - $224400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Executive Protection Manager to join the Office of the Chief Security Officer team. As the primary person responsible for ensuring the protection of our senior executive leadership team, you'll serve as the principal security provider and oversee other executive protection specialists. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our key executives, both domestically and internationally, as they travel to various locations and engage with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive protection and logistics support to senior executives, including advance location planning, secure transportation, and emergency response coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as communications, events, flight operations, internal security intelligence, and counterintelligence, to ensure seamless protection
- Engage with external partners, including law enforcement, the intelligence community, event venues, hotels, travel agents, customers, tradeshow venues and others, to gather intelligence and coordinate security measures
- Conduct threat intelligence activities, reviewing information from internal and external sources to identify and communicate potential security risks
- Develop and deliver written reports, briefs, and assessments on various topics, including venue security, travel risks, geopolitical and other external threats
- Provide in-person briefings to senior executives and other stakeholders on security-related matters
- Travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to ensure the protection of key executives, often on short notice and during extended hours, including nights and weekends
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- At least 10 years security/law enforcement or military experiences, with at least 5 as an Executive Protection or Personal Protective Specialist
- Executive Protection training or demonstratable experience in close protection
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as require
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Experience with intelligence gathering and OSINT Tools
- Experience creating threat assessments, briefings and reports.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Advanced certification(s) in Close Protection or Executive Protection
- Experience with OSINT tools and collection tradecraft
- Experience with large tradeshow and conventions
- Strong professional network in the Aerospace & Defense sector.
