This role is critical in optimizing our logistics networks, improving product support strategies, and providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical modeling skills, analytical abilities, and a passion for identifying and implementing process improvements. You will work with a variety of data sources to develop models, interpret results, and formulate actionable recommendations that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will work with a variety of data sources to develop models, interpret results, and formulate actionable recommendations that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Mathematical Modeling and Optimization:
- Formulate and apply mathematical modeling techniques (e.g., linear programming, simulation, queuing theory) to optimize logistics networks, inventory management, and resource allocation.
- Develop and utilize statistical methods to analyze product performance, failure rates, and customer support data.
- Create models to forecast demand, predict potential bottlenecks, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., ERP systems, CRM systems, logistics databases).
- Interpret model outputs and data analysis results to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Decision Support and Policy Formulation:
- Develop and implement decision support tools and software to assist management in making informed decisions related to logistics, product support, and resource allocation.
- Provide analytical support for the development of logistics and product support policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed policy changes and recommend adjustments based on data analysis.
- Logistics Network Design and Optimization:
- Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
- Analyze transportation costs, warehousing expenses, and inventory holding costs to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement logistics solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
- Product Support Analysis:
- Analyze product support data to identify areas for improvement in product design, documentation, and training.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce product failure rates and improve customer satisfaction with product support.
- Track and analyze product warranty claims and identify trends to improve product quality.
- Service and Product Development:
- Develop and support existing business intelligence tools, services, and products.
- Analyze business processes and procedures for potential automation and efficiency improvements.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in logistics and product support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and new technologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for models, analyses, and decision support tools.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics analysis, product support analysis, or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong mathematical modeling and statistical analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Familiarity with product support processes and procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong communication and reporting skills, especially when engaging senior leadership.
- Highly organized and process-oriented with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in office and logistics support environments.
- Must pass all required background and security checks.
