Senior Data Engineer

Job Description: GridIron IT is seeking multiple Data Engineers local to Washington, DC. In this role you will work in a variety of settings to develop and design data pipelines to support end-to-end solutions. Candidates will build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for multiple purposes to include but not limited to, IT application usage, reporting, applicant processing, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solution.
Develop and maintain artifacts i.e., schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms related to ETL processes.
Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insights.
Manage production data within multiple datasets ensuring fault tolerance and redundancy.
Design and develop robust and functional dataflows to support raw data and expected data.
Collaborate with the rest of data engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of dataflows, capabilities, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Database administration and development experience will be a plus for consideration.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $110,000-130,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
