One Federal Solution is seeking experienced Contract Specialists to provide acquisition and contracting support for federal programs. The Contract Specialist will work under the guidance of a Contracting Officer to support all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, from planning and solicitation through award, administration, and closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct acquisition planning and market research to support contract strategy and socioeconomic goals.
Prepare solicitations, Requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFPs/RFQs), and amendments.
Review proposals/quotes for responsiveness and support source selection activities.
Perform cost and price analyses, support negotiations, and document selection decisions.
Prepare contract awards, modifications, and closeout documentation for Contracting Officer signature.
Maintain contract files and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Assist with contract administration, including payment issues, correspondence, and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, law, or related field (required).
5+ years of Federal Government contracting experience.
5+ years of construction contracting experience.
3+ years of architect-engineer services contracting experience.
Knowledge of FPDS, PRISM, FBMS, or related systems (preferred).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain any necessary federal clearances.
