US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) Principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
  • Monitors the integrity, security and availability of servers and systems.
  • Maintains system documentation
  • Interacts with users and customers, evaluates service availability of vendor products.
  • Develops and implements policies and standards for monitoring Enterprise services.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Develops and maintains monitoring dashboards, performs data analysis to provide requested data points and identify negative or positive trends.
  • Ability to learn vendor specific administrative programming language.


*** This is a shift work position, days, nights, weekends, and holidays***

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 years of related professional experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree - may substitute additional years of experience
  • Experience with monitoring, service support and incident escalation for customers
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE) or higher preferred.
  • ITIL v4 Certification.
  • Network Troubleshooting and Incident Response experience.
  • Service Desk experience
  • SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) Certification
  • Splunk Administrator track Certification
