MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

As an MCiS Trainer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of MTC-K. You will play a crucial role in:

• Planning, coordinating, and executing individual Mission Command Information Systems training
• Assisting unit leadership in planning individual training that will meet training objectives; identifying any gaps and working with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training
• Updating Programs of Instruction
• Maintaining a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs
• Providing leadership to lower-level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs
• Providing guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructors
• Participating in cross training on any integrated systems to meet emerging requitements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and training

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience; military experience preferred; MTC experience preferred
• Required Technical Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Command and Control Information Systems i.e CPCE, JBC-P, AFATDS, TAIS, AMDWS etc., and their functional operations
  • Basic understanding of server management
  • Basic understanding of network configuration.

• Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required to start
• Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Superb presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter; ability to diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues
  • Customer service focused
• Location: On Customer Site / some travel required to other customer sites throughout AoR
