Job Title: Data Integration Designer / ETL Developer
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Description:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Overall 10 years of expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (7 years), IDMC (3 years), and IDQ components
- Must have reliability clearance with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Canada
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying
- Expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, data models, and data governance
- Experience with tools like GitHub DevOps for managing code and deployments
- Familiarity with Agile project management approaches
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Informatica CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and develop processes within the IDMC platform
- Design and implement data pipelines to move data between different sources and targets, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Optimize and enhance performance of data workflows and mappings
- Conduct unit testing to ensure data integrity, quality, and program functionality
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues with ETL processes in various environments, including QA, SIT, and Production
- Prepare design documentation and other relevant materials to support the development and maintenance of the solution
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, software developers, and business stakeholders
- Implement and adhere to industry best practices for data integration, data quality, security, and performance tuning
- Prepare and deliver presentations and effectively communicate with business stakeholders.
