Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of hands-on network experience, including LAN and wireless support
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and other vendor network equipment
- Expertise in LAN protocols, routing (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, Static), and network architecture design
- Experience with Wi-Fi site survey tools like Ekahau and network performance optimization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with current wireless solutions such as Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, Fortinet
- Experience supporting large-scale network deployments and upgrades
- Knowledge of network security practices and vulnerability mitigation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
- A minimum of 5 years in network support roles, with progressive responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel extensively (50% or greater), including site surveys, installations, and upgrades nationwide
- Must reside in the US for at least the past five years and be eligible for a Public Trust clearance
- Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Raleigh, NC office 4 days per week, with flexibility for future adjustments
