Overview
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Process Improvement Specialist working as part of a vibrant team on a contract providing cybersecurity and infrastructure protection services in support of an Intelligence Agency customer. All the personnel on the team will work collaboratively to support the mission and protect the agency's personnel, facilities, information, and systems. This includes delivering expert guidance and oversight to ensure a robust and effective protection program across multiple security domains and global locations.

Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in the maintenance and support of the agency's programs though process improvement initiatives.
- Supports the execution of the day-to-day agency program though process improvement initiatives.
- Ensures Process Improvement team members provide timely security support to Personnel Security's internal and external tasking's, projects, and programs.
- Provides agency level technical expertise concerning the personnel security disciplines and standard operating procedures in support of process improvement initiatives.
- Prepares, supports and administers program briefings, as needed.
- Prepares, writes, and presents reports/whitepapers, various forms of correspondence, as required.
- Researches, prepares and maintains security procedures/guidance for the agency program in support of process improvement initiatives.
- Briefs leadership regarding the program requirements and regulations in support of process improvement initiatives.
- Appropriately and accurately maintains and updates databases and files (e.g., PeopleSoft security system of records, SISP SharePoint Pages, internal SISP file folders, etc.) with data entry in a timely manner/real time related to process improvement initiatives, as needed.
- Responds in a timely manner to all telephone and/or email actions, questions, or status inquires.
- Assists in maintaining distribution lists for customers to contact for process improvement initiatives, as needed/required.
- Brings process improvement initiatives issues to the attention of the Government Team Leads.
- Assists the government team to help in developing recommendations for improvement.
- Provides service excellence in guidance and resolution to internal and external
customers' questions and inquiries in a timely manner for support to their programs. - Utilizes a variety of security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and recommend solutions for difficult and complex security issues.
- Documents and provides Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the designated template and timeline to the Government Lead.
- Provides tailored and innovative process improvement solutions for all Personnel Security areas and teams utilizing Process Improvement techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management, Agile Management, etc.).
- Conceptualizes, designs and develops automation within the systems to improve process flow between various security teams.
- Works with the agency to manage development, patch updates, maintenance support and codebase for automation initiatives, as needed.
Qualifications
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field to process improvement techniques.
- Extensive experience in application of process improvement techniques, methodologies, and associated tools (11-14 years) in the DOD/IC.

Required Skills:
- Extensive experience working process improvement initiatives in process automation with various systems.
- Strategic process improvement techniques and mapping (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management, Agile Management, etc.).
- Experience designing new processes and reviewing current processes for efficiencies and developing execution plans for recommended improvements.
- Experience working with multiple teams and customers when conducting process improvement analysis methodologies.
- Clear and concise writing skills.
- Positive, engaging communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure process improvement solutions are meeting required timelines and Federal Investigative Standards quality standards.
