Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with Salesforce experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automation testing, test design, and test execution, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. This role requires expertise in Salesforce, testing frameworks, and automation tools, with a focus on ensuring product quality and performance in alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a robust automation framework to guide engineering teams in designing, executing, and monitoring tests across the testing pyramid (#shiftleft).
Design and deliver automation solutions with a quality-first mindset.
Provide oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within the scrum team.
Participate in Test Design Review Boards for integration test plans across multiple Salesforce clouds.
Create and execute end-to-end, cross-cloud integration automation (API and UI) for complex Salesforce orgs.
Master Salesforce development processes, requirements, and culture to continuously improve quality practices.
Develop and execute test scenarios, including test cases and conditions, to validate functionality, usability, and accessibility.
Interface with customers to understand real-life usage scenarios and build effective test cases.
Monitor quality health metrics such as testability, coverage, and overall test health.
Work closely with Government Leads, Project Managers, developers, and UX teams to ensure delivery meets business and quality requirements.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions to ensure system stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
2–4 years of experience as a software tester.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., ACCELQ, HP Unified Functional Testing, or similar).
Working knowledge of XML, Java, SOAP, or related programming languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Development background is a plus.
Experience designing automation for complex, large-scale Salesforce implementations.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requires TS/SCI with a FS Polygraph.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000yr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
