Novacoast Federal is currently seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer/ BlueCoat Proxy Engineer for a remote, 12-month estimated, part-time project role. There is potential for this role to start out part-time and become full-time and will most likely be extended past the 12 months.
In this role, you will be assisting our Enterprise-sized government customers with their Broadcom/ Blue coat proxy servers. Additionally, you will ensure setup for proper monitoring and optimization in maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable network infrastructure through your expertise in proxy server technologies, configuration fine-tuning/ troubleshooting, and network security practices.
Required Experience:
* 7+ years' experience with IT security, networking and enterprise technologies
* 5+ years’ experience with Broadcom/ Symantec/ BlueCoat proxy servers
* 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing consultancy role a huge plus
* BlueCoat Certified Proxy Professional (BCCPP) or BlueCoat Certified Proxy Administrator (BCCPA) certification is a huge plus
