MTSI is seeking an Acquisition Program Support SME at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The successful candidate will provide acquisition program management support for new and ongoing projects being executed by our customer. The successful candidate must have a mastery of the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned to independently execute acquisition program management tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities.
• Program/project integration.
• Develop and maintain the program's integrated master schedule.
• Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management.
• Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program.
• Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the Program Manager.
• Support the Program Director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.
• Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff.
Qualifications:
• Possess a minimum of 20 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work experience
• Have no less than three (3) years' experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last five (5) years
• Possess a Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering MA/MS/ME degree.
• Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to the functional area
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.
