We are seeking Experienced Avionics Mechanics to join our team in San Antonio, TX, supporting the F-15 Program. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for technicians who excel in complex avionics troubleshooting, system integration, and flight line operations. You'll apply advanced technical knowledge to solve problems beyond standard manuals, contributing directly to mission-critical aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced technical expertise to resolve complex avionics issues, including circuit analysis, signal flow tracing, and waveform calculations.
- Perform bench and flight line operational testing and troubleshooting in accordance with DoD, manufacturer, and company directives.
- Assemble, install, and modify wire bundles and avionics systems for aircraft development and testing.
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wire diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions in assembly processes using precision instruments and tools.
- Maintain certifications and comply with Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. (Requires US Citizenship)
- 8+ years of experience working with schematics, specifications, and avionics systems.
- Experience with F-15 or other fighter platforms.
- Proficiency in Comm/Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, and Electronic Warfare systems.
- Familiarity with aircraft computer systems and basic office software.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with EPAWSS Modifications.
- Hands-on experience with COMSEC, Radar, or Electronic Warfare Systems.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
