Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a Logistics Analyst to support the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).

Responsibilities

• Provide cradle ‑ to ‑ grave IT acquisition, logistics, and asset/inventory management for NSWCDD enterprise infrastructure-receiving, staging, tracking, and life-cycle management of network, server, endpoint, and telecom assets; manage requisitions and documentation in DON systems (e.g., DITPR ‑ DON, DADMS, NAV ‑ ITAS), and maintain Government warehouse/staging processes, records, and reports.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Direct the integrated logistics process, develop support policies and procedures, and provide implementation guidance.
• Execute IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management record integrity
• Provide IT acquisition & logistics support
• Run the infrastructure inventory pipeline
• Maintain warehouse/staging inventory from acceptance through delivery to end users
• Support network infrastructure and materials inventory management and staging
• Maintain Government property inventory and reporting
• Support administrative operations
• Produce ad hoc and periodic logistics and asset reports to meet SOW data calls and CDRL/reporting timelines

Qualifications

• 3+ years minimum professional experience integrating the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition, and information technology environments.
• Must have an Active Secret clearance
• Experience managing logistics actions associated with lifecycle management of IT assets and related equipment.
• Working knowledge of ITSM tools for asset, request, incident, and change tracking
• Proficiency with Government logistics workflows: receiving, storing, staging, issuing, returns, warranty/report coordination
