Objective:
The CDRL Analyst works closely with team members as a data-driven advisor and partner on strategic issues. The candidate manages Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and tracks the delivery of contractual data and deliverables from a contractor to a client. The candidate will ensure data accuracy and create ad hoc reports. May also be required to provide database maintenance and development as well as gather, extract, manipulate, analyze, and model data using analytical and statistical tools. This individual supports Clients, CPMs, and Government entities.

Job Description:
• Responsible for the entire lifecycle of CDRL items, including creation, scheduling, delivery, and follow-up.
• Acts as a liaison between the contractor's internal technical staff and program managers and the government client. This ensures that everyone understands the requirements and schedules.
• Maintains the master CDRL and monitors its status. Prepares and distributes regular status reports to key stakeholders, such as managers and contract officers.
• Audits submissions to ensure that all data is accurate and compliant with the contract's specified Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
• Manages the storage and archiving of all program deliverables and historical data in the designated data management repository, such as a SharePoint site.
• Assist with closeout activities related to program deliverables once a contract is completed.
• Provide Project evaluation and monitoring.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems in Excel, Project, and other data repositories.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and "clean" data, review reports and distribute internally & to customers.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Research functions may include budget tracking and financial forecasting.
• Keeping project in compliance with corporate and public regulations and performing any data analysis relevant to project tasks.
• Creating, managing, and disbursing reports related to the project.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Employment Status:
Full-time (40 hours per week), Salaried, Exempt

Qualifications:
• Three to five years of experience with preferred experience in research, analysis, and customer support.
• Contract and data management experience: Strong background in contract administration, government contracts, or project management, with a solid understanding of CDRLs, DIDs, and the overall acquisition process.
• Software proficiency: Must be highly proficient with standard tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software, including contract management systems and repositories like SharePoint.
• Analytical skills: Ability to analyze contract requirements, track data metrics, identify trends, and conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies.
• Attention to detail: Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous approach to work are crucial for managing large volumes of data and ensuring full compliance.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with a wide variety of technical and managerial personnel, as well as external customers.
• Security clearance: Positions in the defense industry often require a U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Business Administration or a related science preferred.
• Proven working experience as a data analyst.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
• Tactful, discreet and displays good judgment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions.
• Flexibility to assist wherever needed to achieve goals.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain "Secret" level security clearance.
