Scrum Master –– MASC-F (Missile Defense Modeling & Simulation Contract / Framework and Tools)

Clearance: Secret (must be current and active)
Location: Redstone Gateway 4122 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35808 (Hybrid – 2 days a week in office W/TH)
Relocation: Will consider candidates who wish to relocate within a reasonable period of time.
Job Description
Our client is looking for a seasoned Scrum Master to support a dynamic MASC-F (Missile and Space Command – Force) team in support of the Missile Defense System.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all team level events (PI Planning Team Breakouts, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Feature Elaboration, Sprint Review & Retro)
• Provides timely and accurate reporting of impediments, blockers, and risks to their Release Train Engineer
• Work with Release Train Engineer to set performance and growth targets for their teams
• Guides mentoring and development of agile team members
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, and any ad hoc sessions called by RTE or Agile Coach
• Responsible for coordinating cross-team collaboration and dependencies and reporting them to the RTE
• Ensures teamwork, progress, and artifacts are transparent to all designated stakeholders
Required Education/Experience:
• Must have a current and active DoD SECRET clearance
• BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or another relevant engineering field from an accredited university program plus a minimum of 5+ years of progressive and relevant experience.
• Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the program
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum workflow and Kanban
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Desired Skills:
• SAFe Scrum Master certification
• Jira - issue tracking and agile project management, or similar tool
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
• Familiar with Agile project tools Verison1/Agility or Jira
