Environment is Windows VMs with IIS and .NET.
Required skills:
Windows permissions, network share setup ( share a folder/and or setup security to access a folder on a network drive).
Set up/import/export sites and application pools in IIS.
Export/import SSL certificates from one VM to another, bind certs to sites in IIS.
Change/setup Windows Features.
Familiarity with AD Groups and OUs, and STIGs in order to troubleshoot issues with them.
Ability to troubleshoot IIS and server configuration (Once dev team add the .NET apps, then we support the troubleshooting the IIS and server configuration) based on error messages in .NET apps and http status codes.
Need to work independently (proactively), create/refine documentation and ask for help when needed.
Able to edit xml and config files.
Network & firewall troubleshooting.
Support host file testing of the applications.
