Job Description

As a Security Officer Financial Institution Unarmed in Downey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help create a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and/or customers to provide assistance and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures for financial institution environments to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
