Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed CRE Patrol in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

This post requires both an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license, as you may be assigned to drive during your patrols. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the property.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Support emergency procedures and assist first responders as directed during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
