Senior Active Directory Exchange Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Active Directory Exchange Specialist to support a long-term initiative with the U.S. Marine Corps. This fully onsite role is based in Quantico, VA, and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in systems administration, Active Directory, and IT service management platforms such as Remedy and ServiceNow. This position requires an active Top- Secret security clearance.

Work Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), Exchange, ADAM, and the Global Address List (GAL)
• Handle account provisioning, troubleshooting, and directory/messaging system support
• Provide Tier II support, including ticket triage and escalation via Remedy
• Monitor server performance and oversee virtualization environments
• Ensure consistent operation and maintenance of Windows Server infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience (including military, academic, or freelance work)
• Expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server administration
• Experience with server virtualization and event monitoring tools
• Possession of an IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP)
• Active Top Secret clearance

Preferred:

• Prior experience with the Marine Corps or other military environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 (based on experience)
