Job Description: (Contingent Upon Award)
We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee software release planning, integration, and delivery for a large-scale digital modernization program supporting the U.S. Army. The Release Manager will ensure that enterprise software solutions are properly developed, tested, integrated, and ready for deployment into production. This role requires a strong background in software development, quality assurance, and release management processes to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure system delivery.

This role requires a strong background in software development, quality assurance, and release management processes to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure system delivery.
Basic Requirements:
- B.S Degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with software development and software quality review.
- Experience developing test scripts mapped to user stories and features.
- Experience reviewing and managing software dependencies to ensure enterprise solution integration prior to release.
Additional Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience implementing software development and software quality practices.
- Prior experience serving as a Release Manager or equivalent role in large-scale IT modernization or DoD programs.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Release Manager will:
- Lead software release planning and execution, ensuring that features and user stories integrate seamlessly prior to deployment.
- Review software for quality and compliance, collaborating with developers, testers, and stakeholders.
- Develop and review test scripts that align with user stories and user story features.
- Identify and manage software dependencies across features and user stories to prevent integration issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Enforce quality assurance best practices throughout the software development and release lifecycle
