Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technical projects for the OSD Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO). Conduct and oversee feasibility and military utility analyses for current and emerging SCO projects. Interact with Major Command staffs on current needs, the utility of potential SCO projects, and milestones needed to transition SCO projects to military services. This particular position will focus on designing and testing new hypersonic weapons concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the Government with subject matter expertise in current USMC signals intelligence operations
• Assist the Government in developing project requirements
• Review the contractor's proposed technical solutions and provide assessments to the Government
• Assist in all aspects of test and demonstration activities, including planning, preparation, setup, execution, and analysis
• Collaborate with other DoD and IC stakeholders
• Define key capabilities, milestones, and demonstrations to enable rapid prototyping and transition of military systems
• Develop detailed communication products to inform senior department leadership of key objectives and technical and programmatic progress of prototyping and demonstration projects
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition and test processes, standards, and requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Experience in military hardware design and testing
• Familiarization with Radio Frequency (RF) fundamentals
• Minimum of a Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or Science
• Minimum of 10 years of program management and analytical experience
• Acquisition or government program management experience is highly desired
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Required), Master's (Desired)OP
• Active TS/(SCI Eligible)
