Job Description: The selected candidate will directly support the PEO STRI, PM Cyber, Test, and Training CT2 Chief Engineer and assist with enterprise data aggregation, development of engineering strategies and roadmaps, and optimization of cybersecurity operations.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Worksite details: Onsite in Orlando, FL. Some telework may be permitted.

Duties will include:

  • Seeking a unique individual to assist Army customer with the following initiatives:
    • Improve quality and speed of delivery
    • Accelerate modernization, maximize efficiency and effectiveness
    • Provide Agile Expertise
  • Ideal candidate will provide expertise to help optimize cybersecurity operations and reduce redundancy across the PM CT2 portfolio while enhancing the cybersecurity posture. This will involve identifying commonalities across systems and programs and recommending consolidations by streamlining and consolidating Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes across multiple systems and organizations. This effort will focus on analyzing existing ATO packages or Authorization Officials (AO) and cybersecurity frameworks, identifying opportunities for horizontal integration, and developing strategies to accredit systems under unified umbrellas (e.g., RedHat, Cisco).
  • Ideal candidate will assist in operationalizing business automation tools to improve efficiency across key functional areas such as business management, contracting, proposal generation, awareness of development progress and blockers, and other key program management activities. This effort will include working closely with developers to identify data feeds and implement solutions using Army Vantage, PowerAutomate and PowerBI to create templates, automate workflows, reduce manual efforts, enable consistent repeatable outcomes, and enhance data-driven decision-making. The candidate will assist developers to build scalable tooling that supports operational needs with a goal of streamlining processes, reducing manual effort, and enabling consistent, repeatable outcomes across the organization.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with rapid development processing to support Army Transformation Initiatives in modernizing operations and aligning agile practices across diverse teams and initiatives. This effort will include conducting technical analyses of modernization opportunities, identifying common retrospective themes, and developing actionable recommendations for next steps. The candidate will also help establish a campaign plan to provide strategic feedback loops and improve coordination across programs. The focus will be on fostering collaboration, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring consistent execution of agile methodologies across the sponsor's PM CT2 portfolio.
  • Candidates should be familiar with the following Army Initiatives:

    • Secretary of Defense Memo: Eliminating Waste; Transforming the Army

Position Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineer, or Electrical Engineering preferred). IT Certifications are a plus.
  • 5-10 years of related work experience is required. Army experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Business Automation, and Operations Modernization.
  • Experience/familiarity with Army Cyber Security implementation, experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) programs, Test programs, and experience with cloud-based hosting experience preferred (i.e. AWS).
  • Ability to brief leaders with succinct, clear, and concise information.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving, and emerging work environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently; must be able to complete tasks and solve problems without constant supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams).
  • Ability to perform duties onsite 5 days per week, although some telework may be allowed.
