Credence has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Systems Administrator to support our federal client engagements. This role is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the ServiceNow platform in alignment with federal IT standards, security requirements, and client mission objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow administration, migrations, and upgrades, while also providing hands-on support for ticket resolution, platform configuration, and light scripting to meet evolving client needs.

Credence has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Systems Administrator to support our federal client engagements. This role is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the ServiceNow platform in alignment with federal IT standards, security requirements, and client mission objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow administration, migrations, and upgrades, while also providing hands-on support for ticket resolution, platform configuration, and light scripting to meet evolving client needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform in support of federal client environments.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in compliance with change management and governance processes.
- Triage, track, and resolve ServiceNow incidents and service requests in line with defined SLAs.
- Perform light coding/scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Workflows) to customize solutions within compliance standards.
- Support audits, security assessments, and federal compliance activities (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP, etc.)
- Develop and maintain platform documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOP), system configurations, and migration runbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams, program managers, and federal stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and solutions.
- Ensure platform stability, security, and performance monitoring in accordance with government IT policies.
- 3-5 years of experience administering ServiceNow in a federal consulting or government environment.
- 2 years of dev experience and then at least 1 year of ServiceNow dev experience
- Demonstrated experience performing ServiceNow system upgrades and migrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
- Proficiency in basic ServiceNow scripting and configurations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a consulting team and client-facing environment.
- Active ServiceNow System Administrator certification required
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications required
- ICAgile or Scrum certification required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust or security clearance (as required by the client).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting ServiceNow ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP).
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs) in a secure environment.
- Prior federal consulting experience with agencies or defense clients.
