Duties

  • You Will Serve as the NAVWAR modernization lead, and is responsible for cost, schedule and performance of C5ISR systems delivery on board U.S. Navy surface and subsurface units
  • You Will Manage and delegate resources to execute multiple large complex projects
  • You Will Monitor all execution team activities throughout, maintaining awareness of availability status,
  • You Will Ensure modernizations follow all statutory and regulatory compliance IAW NAVSEA Technical Specifications 9090-310 series and the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) by reviewing AIT Performance Work Statements
  • You Will Develop briefs and communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders up to the customer level, including ship's Commanding Officers, senior military, civilian management, and fleet type commanders.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

NO-4 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-3/GS-9/11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate managing and delegating resources in executing complex projects, providing project management and installation skills for delivering integrated C5ISR products and capabilities onboard U.S. Navy surface and subsurface units. Identifying potential problems and making recommendations.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NO-4/GS-11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Specialized experience must demonstrate managing and delegating resources in executing complex projects, providing project management and installation skills for delivering integrated C5ISR products and capabilities onboard U.S. Navy surface and subsurface units. Identifying and resolving potential problems. Leading and executing multiple large complex projects.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
