Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for custom web applications.
- Develop new UI components for various DEA applications.
- Ensure all designs meet 508 compliance and accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with developers to create wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.
- Enhance web application navigation, graphics, and overall user experience.
- Create and maintain style guides and design standards.
- Gather UI design requirements from end-users and business analysts.
- Communicate technical requirements to development teams.
- Conduct usability testing and interface functionality reviews.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum team activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years implementing and testing 508 compliance standards.
- 5+ years of expert-level experience in web design standards.
- 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS design.
- 4+ years working with version control systems such as MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Git.
- Active Secret Clearance is required .
- Industry-recognized UI/UX certifications.
